Automatic loading/unloading portal system for yarn cones

DY-PORT is a system which allows automatic loading and unloading operations for yarn cones into vertical cone dyeing vessels.

The robot arm of the DY-PORT system collects the single spindle from the mobile trolley, previously loaded with yarn cones for dyeing, and automatically inserts the cone rods into the dyeing machine.

Lot identification data of the cones being processed is saved on a magnetic memory key onboard the cone trolley.

At the end of the dyeing cycle, DY-PORT unloads the dyed cones, on the appropriate unloading trolley.

DY-PORT can be autonomous or connected to other automatic cone handling systems.
